
Phil Molyneux
President and Chief Operating Officer Sony Electronics Inc.
Phil Molyneux is the president and chief operating officer of Sony Electronics Inc. He was appointed to the position in September 2010.
In his role, Molyneux oversees the electronics business of Sony Corporation in the United States. He is a 23-year veteran of Sony's European electronics operation, where he most recently served as managing director of Sony Central and South East Europe. In this role, Molyneux created a new business model for Sony's consumer and professional products designed to engage a highly-diverse consumer population and increase operational efficiency, driving business growth within the region.
From 1997 to 2007, while based in the U.K., his responsibilities were expanded to include manufacturing, systems and related software, core technology and retail peripheral products. Molyneux led Sony's entry into the computer peripheral retail market and played a pivotal role in its expansion into component supply for the mobile phone market.
He joined Sony in 1987 as a sales engineer to develop untapped business for the semiconductor and component unit in the U.K. Over the next 10 years, he expanded the business across Europe, and led Sony to the No. 1 market share position in several related areas, including magnetic and optical drive technology.
Molyneux was awarded an apprenticeship in electromechanical engineering with the U.K. Ministry of Defense, completing his studies in 1982. He then studied computer technology at the College of Central London.

Mike Fasulo
Executive Vice President, Sales Operations
Michael Fasulo is executive vice president for Sony Electronics (SEL). His responsibilities include leading sales, marketing, communications, retail execution and service for SEL.
Fasulo also oversees the company's corporate social responsibility efforts, building a sustainable future through innovation and working to attain a carbon-free footprint. As part of these efforts, Fasulo leads a national program promoting the free recycling of its electronics, as well as the development of eco-friendly products.
He joined Sony in 1984 as a junior financial analyst, serving in several positions throughout his 25-year tenure, including senior vice president of Consumer Sales, president of the Media Solutions Company, and president of e-Solutions LLC, during which time he launched Sony Style.
Fasulo, a member of the SEL executive committee, serves on the advisory board for Mplanet, an annual gathering of industry professionals with an expertise in marketing, hosted by the American Marketing Association. Also a member of the senior advisory board for the Marketing Leadership Council, Fasulo is the recipient of the 2008 Customer Champion Award and member of the coveted Samurai Society within Sony.
He earned his bachelors degree from Glassboro State College, N.J., and has continued his executive education at IMD, Switzerland; UCLA; the University of Michigan; and Columbia Executive Business School.
Fasulo and his wife Pat have three children; Samantha, Christopher and Jennifer.

Masatoshi Hitomi
Executive Vice President, SEL Support Services, Chief Financial Officer
Masatoshi “Mark” Hitomi serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Sony Electronics.
In his role, Hitomi is responsible for accurately presenting and reporting SEL’s historical and current financial information to company stakeholders. He controls the company’s operations and activities that impact SEL’s capital structure, playing a lead role in the implementation of economic strategies that best benefit the company’s financial future.
Hitomi began his career at Sony’s Tokyo Headquarters as a staff accountant in 1981. He then traveled overseas to Nuevo Laredo to join SEL as a cost accounting manager from 1987 to 1989, at which point he moved to Alabama to continue his work at the Dothan campus from 1989 to 1993.
Between July 1998 and May 2003, he served as the vice president of Finance for the Recording Media and Energy Group, the Component Business Group, and the Broadcast and Professional Group in Park Ridge and San Jose.

Toshihiko Ohnishi
President, Professional Solutions of America
Toshihiko Ohnishi is president of Professional Solutions of America (PSA) at Sony Electronics.
In this position, he is responsible for all components of PSA, including sales and marketing, Sony Creative Software, Convergent, and engineering operations. PSA's key business fields include broadcast and professional content creation, digital cinema, and business and industry applications.
PSA's engineering and services team provides services and solutions that include consultation, designing, integration, installation and maintenance. The engineering team also works closely with the relevant Jigyo-bu in Japan as an extended-arm design team.
Ohnishi’s role is to leverage these diversified efforts to grow the business.

Steve Haber
President, Digital Reading Business Division
In this position, he is responsible for the global direction and development of Sony's Reader Digital Book, Sony's eBook Store in the United States and relationships with affiliate book stores overseas. The Reader business is Sony's first global consumer electronics business to be headquartered in the United States.
Prior to this position, Haber was the executive vice president of Sony Electronics' Consumer Product Group, which included the Home Products, Digital Imaging and Audio Products, Information Technology, Media Applications and Solutions, business divisions.
Before heading up the Consumer Product Group, Haber was the senior vice president of Sony Electronics' Digital Imaging and Audio Division, where he oversaw the product management and marketing of the company's digital still cameras, camcorders, digital photo printers, personal audio, mobile electronics and accessories related to these categories. One of the many highlights was the launch of Alpha, Sony's first digital SLR camera, which was named "Camera of the Year" by Popular Photography in 2006.
Prior to his leadership of DIAD, Haber was senior vice president of Sony's Personal Mobile and Imaging Division. Under his direction, the brand value of Cyber-shot® digital cameras grew by $600 million and was recognized as a "Breakaway Brand" by Fortune Magazine in 2005. He also launched two new formats of Handycam camcorders: DVD and hard disk drive. Both formats climbed to number one market share in their respective categories within a year of their launch.
Since joining the Sony family in 1988, Haber has assumed many different capacities, including director of sales for the Consumer Audio Video Group/Personal Audio Video where he had overall sales responsibility for general audio, personal video and accessory products.
Before joining Sony, Haber was president and founder of Trolley Stereo, a college audio and video retail and mail order business.
Haber attended Bentley College in Waltham, Mass. and has an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University's Graziadio School of Business and Management.

Michael T. Williams
Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
Michael Williams is the executive vice president, general counsel and secretary of Sony Electronics Inc. As general counsel, Williams is responsible for providing legal advice and guidance to all business units and to render proactive, cost-effective counsel to achieve the company's business goals at prudent risk levels.
He leads and manages 84 professional and para-professionals in seven departments: law; corporate security (including supply chain security and brand integrity unit); trade strategy and compliance (import, export and duty matters); government affairs (lobbying); technologies standards office (standards setting work); community affairs (charitable giving); and ethics, compliance and personal information management. In addition, he serves as regional information security officer for the company.
Before joining Sony, Williams spent 22 years in private practice in Los Angeles where he represented Sony along with other Fortune 500 companies in a variety of aviation, antitrust, unfair competition, construction, product liability and commercial disputes.
Before obtaining his law degree in 1982 from the University of San Diego, Williams served four years as an officer in the United States Marine Corps in the Far East.
